One of my favorite things about being a family photographer is being able to freeze moments in time for my clients… little ones grow so quickly and families lives are so full of exciting events, milestones and activities that there isn’t much time for the camera – that’s where I come in! So Kendall is all grown up and graduated from my Milestone package, but lucky for me, she is going to be a big sister so I’m going to be seeing a lot more of her and her beautiful family in the year ahead!

My sunset session with The Tews Family could not have gone better… the lighting was beautiful, the weather was gorgeous and the mosquitos stayed away… perfection! I love photographing kids who are comfortable in front of the camera because I always feel like their true personalities and that little something that makes each of them sparkle is captured. Besides the fact that these girls obviously love one another, it’s also clear they are going to be life long friends and enjoy every single moment together!

I was fortunate enough to meet little Caroline’s parents just a couple of months ago during their maternity session with me at the Milwaukee Domes… we had such a good time exploring the location and getting to know each other so I was so excited when they became my newest Milestone clients! Baby Caroline was such a sweetheart to photograph and I can’t wait to watch her grow and change during the year ahead.

I don’t know what it is about this age, but I can’t get enough of it!!! Sitting up on her own without any help from Mom and Dad (ok, so we cheated a little bit) the beginning of her independence and that sparkly little personality… I had the best time with sweet Clara! Spending time in the gorgeous sunshine with lots of greenery surrounding us, we had a great shoot capturing all the little details that make Clara… Clara.

This blog post is so near and dear to my heart… I’m happy, sad and excited all at once, because tiny baby Bernadette has graduated from my Milestone package and is one year old! I can’t believe it’s been one year since I photographed this beautiful little girl’s newborn session and what a year it’s been! Our last session together was perfect with Spring finally giving us some warmth and a beautiful green backdrop, we were able to celebrate Bernadette’s first birthday outdoors… we even had an amazing horse walk right through our session on one of the bridal trails – and all I could think was, “this is seriously happening”!

Thank you Bernie for being so gorgeous and spending all of your first milestones with me, I am forever grateful.

Sweet baby Kaitlin was such a treat to photograph and flew through her session without needing any feeding breaks, that’s a new record! She even ended our shoot by giving me a high five… now that’s a great note to end on! I just loved spending time with her parents and am so grateful to have them as my newest Milestone clients, I can’t wait to see her change and grow during the year ahead!

I met little Oren when he was just one month old and I have been smitten ever since… such a sweet little boy with a larger than life smile and personality to match! Oren’s parents are so fun to work with and always bring such cute ideas and props to our sessions – bubble bath and rubber ducky have got to be my new favorite!

My very first session with multiples went wonderfully and I have to give all the credit to the parents of these two adorable little ones! Following all my “day of” instructions and staying so calm and patient throughout the entire session, I am so excited that Claire and Thomas are two of my newest Milestone clients and I get to see them grow during their first year of life!

I feel so blessed to have clients who travelled from an hour and forty minutes away just so I could capture their precious little one’s newborn photos. Little Olivia is such an angel and has the most amazingly full head of dark gorgeous hair, I am a little envious! Spending the day with this brand new family was the highlight of my week and I can’t wait to see them all again when baby Olivia is sitting up on her own for her next milestone session!

I met Elizabeth and Joe at the Mitchell Park Domes in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to capture their maternity photos during one of the coldest and rainiest Springs in years… so I was delighted to find that Spring had really sprung inside the domes and it felt like it was just for us! Elizabeth and Joe are such a sweet couple and I couldn’t be happier for them expecting their first baby sometime in late May… be on the look out for their newborn post because they are my newest Milestone clients!
